Counselling is carried out within the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Ethical Framework, which requires practitioners to be regularly supervised. This ensures the quality and safety of the work they do. Your sessions may be discussed in supervision. The supervision is confidential, and your identity would not be divulged. The BACP Accredited Clinical Supervisor is an external practitioner who is also looking after you. Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Supervisors who have achieved Accredited status have a substantial level of training and experience that has been approved by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
